Sewing class, Fleece Jackets

Since i had enough fabric, I decided to cut out another jacket and sew 2 at the same time. I think they came out really cute. I may try another in a solid and use the appliques like the pattern calls for. The other girl in class used little cupcake ones that were so cute!!

Another rag quilt

Here is my latest Rag quilt. I have not snipped this one either. I will post them when i have that all done.

Rag Quilt

This is the front of the quilt. It is flannel.

This is the back of the quilt. It is cotton.

I have not gotten to clipping the edges yet. But then again...I only decided around 8pm tonight to do this. In 5 hours i had the squares (already cut from another project) layered, layed out, and sewn!!

Thanks Robin and Michele for talking Quilts. This really got me going. I am going to make one of these for each of my kids. This is for the oldest. I have fabric for most of my son's. Now to go and buy remnants for my middle daughter!!

Abby's Halloween costume

She wanted to have a Chinese girl outfit. We looked at a store bought halloween Kimono but the fabric was cheap and it was ugly! WE love this one. This took my 1 night till 3am cutting it out and about 8 hours of sewing! I still have to finish some hand sewing and the trim on the hat!! She wore for Halloween and then again for church for Taste of Nations. She is so cute in this!

A little purse

This is a little purse that i made for a birthday party that one of my girls had to go to. It is made from a pair of jeans. I added beaded trim this time and love it. We bought some little things for in it, like lip gloss, a brush, candy, lotion, and bracelets. I love making them and the little girls love them!!

Girl Scout Quilt sevice project

This is 2 out of 4 quilts we put together with 50 girl scouts and 3 machines. We also did 4 other quilt tops and 3 fleece tie blankets. These will go to My Very Own Blanket. They will be given to kids in foster care. I am so proud of the work these girls did. We will definitely do this again, just a smaller group!!

This is a little poncho that i have made. I bought the pom pom stuff from the scrapbook store. I thought the size was perfect for doll clothes!

These are wash clothes i knitted for Christmas. The pink/tan one was the 1st that i did. It got better near the top as i went along.

American Girl Doll Clothes

These are some clothes that i made for my girls for their dolls for Christmas. I worked while they were in school and when they were sleeping. I took me about 2-3 weeks to do them. I have not done any since and really need to get back to it!!
